I have about 14 accounts and often want to check them all. But it lags behind Microsoft Defender in that it has a low detection rate and. Avast’s strengths include free availability with other paid options, low-cost subscriptions, multiple scan functions, and low resource consumption. Ive gone though complete reinstallations of Avast without resolution. But later, Microsoft’s Windows Defender surfaced online as a rival service offering similar protection at no cost. I try it with every new version of Avast and Thunderbird with no luck. Neglecting to run antivirus to save a tiny percentage of background processing as advice is either malicious or idiotic, no better than telling people to not bother washing hands because why waste 40 seconds of your precious life when its just gonna get dirty grabbing the next doorknob anyway. I have been having such problems with Thunderbird and Avast since mid 2020. Hell, browsing Google Image search and deviantart has given me malware before. You can also get viruses and such never using email, some normal websites using Google ads (read: the entire internet save heavily censored targets) have embedded redirects in ads and popups that give you nasty ♥♥♥♥ quite discreetly. Avast has actually saved me several times from powerful droppers and worms. Literally everything that uses electricity sells your info, you can get shopping and ad info on Amish people. Considering Avast sells personally identifying data to third parties and wastes processing power running in the background, it's more of a virus than an antivirus anyway. The Disable permanently option also turns off Avast temporarily, and you can reactivate the anti-malware utility manually. Besides, there are some other reasons for Avast slowing down computer. Luckily, the security company has noticed this problem and now they use the provider’s server to power the processes instead of the customer’s. For example, selecting Disable for 10 minutes should automatically restart Avast after 10 minutes. As a result, the list of malware types is growing greatly and the databases that Avast uses are large. Either it needs to be turned off or configured to accept the printer. The first three options allow you to disable Avast temporarily. The Avast firewall is blocking the printer now. Once that is done, the printer will be able to communicate with the computer. Don't download sketchy email attachments, don't click sketchy ads, and don't download things illegally, and you'll never get a virus. However, you will need to add exceptions to the Avast firewall to ensure that the printer is added to it. You can only get a virus through negligence.
